KNIGHTLAND has a wide-ranging skills base on which to call when it comes to providing specific packages for individualclients.

Director Neville Reid said staff at the company's disposal included experienced investigators, forensic investigators, a fingerprint expert, a computer technician, surveillance operators, security consultants and equipment installers, a motor vehicle examiner, a brief analyst, locksmiths, debt collectors, process servers, personal bodyguards and crowd controllers.

The company could also deliver lectures on how to combat armed robbery and fraud and could also offer a package that incorporated ongoing staff training, debriefing after any major incident and addressing any deficiencies which may have occurred.

`Victim care and counselling can also be arranged and followed up by our personnel,' he said.

Mr Reid said Knight-land was also equipped to investigate any employee fraud or theft matters.

`This can be achieved using various techniques including miniature surveillance cameras with 24-hour recording capability, strategically positioned fluorescent powders, covert surveillance or the use of undercover operatives.

`We can also provide a 24-hour security service involving mobile or static patrols and escorts.'

Mr Reid said there had been a number of notable armed robbery investigations which had included Knight-land personnel.

`They included an armed robbery task force in the Cessnock area where eight offenders were arrested and charged with serious armed robbery offences; a major operation involving the arrest and charging of the offender known as The Big Nose Bandit who was responsible for numerous armed robbery offences against banks and building societies in NSW; and another major operation resulting in the arrest of Mr Cool who was responsible for a number of bank and building society robberies.'
