THE Master Builders Association (MBA) has organised training in computer accounting packages including MYOB and QUICKEN courses to assist with the implementation of GST reporting procedures.
Course information can be obtained by contacting MBA Newcastle.
Cynthia Phillips, a GST administrator with the MBA Newcastle, said the $200 certificate from the Australian Taxation Office could be used to offset the cost of the courses as well as the cost of computers.
